    Traditional multichannel providers, such as cable, direct broadcast satellite and telcos, lost 860,640 video subscribers in the second quarter of this year, according to a new report from S&P Global Market Intelligence's Kagan arm. The data suggests that as of June 30, 2018, there were 92.2 million subscribers in the US, which accounts for 89.4 million residential customers.
