    We already knew that Bethesda is supporting the Nintendo Switch with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, launching in November. And now it is also launching Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on Nintendo's newest video game console.
    Nintendo announced these as part of its Nintendo Direct online event today. It means that Bethesda, one of the world's biggest video game publishers, is increasing its support for Nintendo's popular Switch, said Pete Hines, vice president of PR and marketing at Bethesda, in an interview with GamesBeat.

    Nintendo announced Kirby: Battle Royale for the 3DS today during its Direct event. It will come out on January 19, 2018.
    Battle Royale will feature four-player fights and a single-player story mode. It differs from Kirby Fighters Deluxe, also for 3DS, which was a 2D fighting game. Battle Royale instead uses a top-down camera.
    The first Kirby game came out for the Game Boy in 1992. Kirby has gone on to be one of Nintendo's most popular franchises.
    Another new Kirby game, so far just called Kirby, is coming out for the Switch later in 2018. It will be a traditional 2D platformer.

    Nintendo announced that Mario Party: The Top 100 will be coming to its 3DS handheld console. It will be out on November 10.
    The new package will include 100 minigames from all the previous Mario Party games. Up to four players will be able to play together using one copy of the game.
    The original Mario Party came out in 1998 , and Mario Party 10 was released for the Wii U in 2015. The franchise has sold about 40 million copies in its lifetime.

    Nintendo and Microsoft aren't afraid to work together when it comes to Minecraft. The block-building phenomenon is already on Wii U and Switch, but now it's hitting Nintendo's dedicated handheld. Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition is launching on the eShop today, and you can get it as long as you own a New 3DS, a New 3DS XL, or a 2DS XL. The older, original 3DS and 2DS models are too slow to run Minecraft, apparently.
    Minecraft: New 3DS Edition will also get a retail version. Nintendo confirmed the package release is due out at a later date.
