AirPods Max beta confirms higher quality Bluetooth codec, here's what that means for AirPods Pro 2

Apple recently made available new AirPods beta firmware alongside the first builds of iOS 16 and the other upcoming operating systems introduced during the WWDC 2022 keynote.
Now, a developer was able to confirm that the AirPods Max beta can support a higher quality Bluetooth codec, which will, at least, improve Apple's premium headphones' voice calls quality and could preview the nicest features coming to AirPods Pro 2.

You'll get the update seamlessly if you're on the first iOS 16 version. As usual with new iOS beta releases, the update brings over several fixes and improvements. One of the things that iOS 16 beta 2 fixes concerns edited iMessages.
Specifically, iOS 16 beta 2 will now resend edited iMessages to the iPhone users on older software. That means iOS 15 and older.

IOS 16 includes code-level references to what appears to be a new and unreleased version of the Siri Remote for the Apple TV.
The first two betas of iOS 16 include strings for "SiriRemote4" and "WirelessRemoteFirmware.4" that do not correspond with any existing Siri Remote, according to Aaronp613 , a contributor at AppleDB , an online database of Apple software and devices.
